Warming sun outside, when it was a good day for farming~!
An organic farming education section was held today. Participants were from NGOs of Sri Lanka. They were cheerful and energetic early in the morning though some of them were 60 years old and above.
There is a small farm behind the office. Different species of plants and vegetables could be seen. We felt so excited and interesting when things go connected to nature. What caught out eyes most is the natural digger ----earthworms!!
Earthworms are important in creating organic soil. It decompose food wastage such as vegetables and fruits in order to provide the soil with microorganisms that could give nutrient and minerals to the plant. They are good, awesome, and given a wonderful mission by God. Without them, where are you going to look for organic vegetables and fruits?
Thank you, worms. But so sorry i still afraid to near you, hold you, and look at you. I won't shout in front of others but will scream from the bottom of my heart. I know i shouldn't think of you like that. I'll keep trying to overcome my bias and narrow scopes on you, truly. We actually still have time to cope with each other. I hope i can do my best in these 8 weeks.
Gift of the day : They work so hard for the earth, in fact for us. What have you done?
